Wrangell View RV Park offers the only full-hook up sites in Chitina. It’s location makes the perfect home base for all your planned adventures in the area. Whether you are heading into Wrangell-St. Elias National Park or just want to do some hiking, fishing or general exploring in the area you will find this spot ideal. Daily scheduled flights to McCarthy are a short walk from our park and shuttle vans into the Park will pick you up at your door with prior arrangements. Liberty Falls State Recreation site is close by with a popular trailhead, a favorite of many locals. The historic ghost town of Chitina is approx. 5 miles away and worth a visit. The downtown Chitina area features basic services such as a store, gas station, dining options, a post office, a gift shop, a tavern , a Park Service Visitor Center and numerous historical buildings. Fishwheel viewing is a short walk away from the RV Park and dipnetting can be viewed close by. Area lakes offer some great trout fishing and most have public access.
